The Hexenlochmühle
(with coven mill) was build in 1825 and is a typical example of a beautiful old Black
Forest mill.
Romantically situated in a small valley
between St.Märgen and Furtwangen. The mill has been in the possession
of the "TRENKLE" familiy since 1839 and is now in
the hands of the 4th generation.
The mill was originally built as a saw-mill. The mill
wheels, the larger of wich has a diameter of 4 meters, are driven by the River Heubach
(300 litres per second) and can produce 13HP. |

Die Hexenlochmühle wurde im
Jahre 1825 erbaut und ist eine der schönen, typischen, alten Schwarzwaldmühlen.
Romantisch in einem kleinen Tal, dem
Hexenloch gelegen; zwischen St.Märgen
und Furtwangen. Sie befindet sich seit
1839 in Familienbesitz und wird nun schon von der 4. Generation
"TRENKLE" weitergeführt.
Die Mühle wurde als
Sägemühle gebaut.
Die Mühlräder, das große hat einen Durchmesser von 4 m, werden vom Wasser des Heubaches
angetrieben (300 l/s) und erzeugen ca. 13PS. |
